I've been to Palawan twice in the past 6 months and I've only seen Puerto Princesa as a momentarily stop before my next flight to Manila. So with only a day in Puerto Princesa, I went Mitra's Ranch. This is a property of the late senator in Palawan. It is a perfect place to unwind after that five hours of travel from El Nido. From here you can see the cove of Honda Bay and it is very relaxing.
The property has its own zip line for visitors. The first and last station was the best one. At first, I was so anxious and nervous at the same time, which is exciting for me. The last station was one of the best one because I took off from a higher elevation, thus making my take-off faster. Just be wary of mosquitoes. I started zip-lining right before sunset, so by the time I was at the last station it was almost dark and the mosquitoes were out for some flesh. The cost to zip line is P500 and everything is provided. Don't forget to visit Baker's Hill for delicious goodies.
