Eating all that noodles and dumplings can sometimes get tiring. Life is more exciting when there's variety.
This was my first time brunching at M One Cafe and in Taiwan.
Brunch is probably my favorite time to eat. It's not breakfast nor lunch; it's a good medium.
M One Cafe has the typical brunch food you would expect (i.e. eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, omelette, etc). They also have pastas, burgers, and sandwiches available. All can be ordered as a set, which is served with a side salad and drink.
My boyfriend and I went here not knowing that reservations were required. Luckily, they had some tables outside available.
For starters, I had a side salad and Citron Kumquat Tea (140NT). The side salad was a great appetizer and the tea was amazing. It was perfect for my sore throat. There are two things I love in my drink; one is kumquat and second is winter melon. I rarely get these in the states, so I quench for any drinks that has these ingredients.
We had the Black Truffle and Wild Mushrooms Spaghetti with Cream Sauce (360NT) and Blue Cheese Burger (300NT). I really liked the spaghetti because I can actually taste the truffle in the dish and it stands out. The burger is cooked nicely and that blue cheese tasted great. It gave it a nice kick to it. I would definitely come back here and try their other dishes.
