Everyone raves about cronuts in the U.S., so it's no surprise that Taipei being the foodie city it is, would have a concoction such as this one. A simple formulation that will give you a cronut, which includes a texture of a croissant and shape of a doughtnut. Simple, but delicious. I had the lemon and peanut butter cronut. Although, I'm not a big fan of peanut butter, the lemon cronut was light and tastes refreshing. You can never go wrong with anything with lemon. The cronut is priced at 40NT. Not too shabby if you convert it to dollars ($1.50). The only thing that irked me was that it wasn't fresh out of the oven. Nevertheless, it doesn't discount the tasty pastry.
