With the drought in California, I would never think of seeing waterfalls. As part of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, McCloud Falls provides stunning waterfalls. Anyone and everyone should make the time to drive up here and hike this trail. Three hours north of Sacramento, CA is where this gorgeous place is located. The hike is very easy (3.5 miles roundtrip) - probably the shortest trail with a waterfall at the end. McCloud Falls trail has Upper, Middle, and Lower falls, which I recommend seeing all three. I will definitely make a trip back up here again!
