Oh, how I've missed banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich)!
I came back from the Philippines and found out that a Lee's Sandwich opened in Taipei. I was beyond ecstatic because I have been craving Vietnamese food.
Located outside of Taipei Main Station, close to Tim Ho Wan restaurant and Caesar Park Hotel is the amazing Lee's Sandwich. My go-to sandwich is the Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork) paired with thai tea. The bread is freshly made and you can even watch the workers kneed and roll the dough through their huge glass window as you eat. The bread is crispy on the outside, but soft as you bite down. The price is a little bit more compared to the States, but it is worth every NT.
