Life is better with a grilled cheese in hand. That should be everyone's words to live by. Of course, when I saw this in a restaurant, I had to try it out. I don't remember the last time I craved for a grilled cheese sandwich. It's odd because a grilled cheese sandwich wouldn't be my first choice back in California. However, since living in Taiwan, I started craving and missing "American" food.
They had several grilled cheese sandwich that has Taiwanese pork, kimchi, braised beef, etc. Everything looked so good and I couldn't make a choice. Ultimately, I had the waitress make the choice for me and suggested the Fried Pork Chop and my boyfriend had the Kimchi Philly Cheesesteak. I was also surprised by how much the sandwiches were. Whenever I go to an American restaurant, I expect "American prices," but not this one. Their sandwiches are under 200 NT. In addition to the sandwiches, I had fries topped with cheese and Taiwanese sausages. I wanted to order the Mac n Cheese, but the waitress had to stop me because she said it would be too much food. She was right, with the grilled cheese sandwich and fries, I was stuffed. Definitely satisfied my American cravings.
