Nacpan-Calitang also known as "Twin Beach" is about 40-minutes away from El Nido town proper by tricycle. I rented a tricycle for half day (600 pesos RT). It is more if you decide to rent it for a whole day. I just wanted to check out the beach, so I went for the cheaper option. Due to the weather, it took awhile to get there because the roads were still unpaved and it just had rained, so it was very muddy. It was more or less an interesting and bumpy ride to the beach. Nevertheless, the scenery was great and well worth the visit! I went in the afternoon and saw barely anyone at the beach. Nacpan-Calitang is a very beautiful beach, where the native people of El Nido lives in huts. I was told by the locals to hike up the little curved mountain to see a full view of the twin beach. Despite, the lack of blue skies, it was still beautiful.
