24 Hours In Vung Tau
The last day of my Vietnam trip concluded in Vung Tau. Directly from the airport, I hopped onto a cab to the ferry station, which I made it just in time before the last ride (3pm). The ferry ride from HCMC to Vung Tau was only $9! With only 24 hours to spend, I wanted to get the most out of it.
Vung Tau is famous for their seafood. These type of places are abundant, so no worries, just ask a local for a recommendation. Here, fresh seafood is laid out for customers. You pick it and they'll grill it for you. This place has probably one of the best seafood I've had in Vietnam. I basically engulfed the grilled clams topped with green onions, peanuts and drenched with their house dipping sauce.
socialize + seafood + beer
Afterwards, some more drinking and people watching at Cafe Gazebo.
This is the life in Vietnam and I fall in love with it every single time I travel here.
It's just... so chill.
Vung Tau is a great place to get away from the bustling streets of HCMC.
Vietnam | I learned the hard way that four days in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is not enough to explore the surrounding cities. I couldn't do the floating market tour in Can Tho which requires two days. I opted for a day in Ben Tre and Mekong Delta.
